You don't need to be a burly lumberman to keep this electric chain saw busy clearing brush, trimming trees, stockpiling firewood and performing a number of other recurring outdoor tasks as it only weighs 10.8 pounds. This eco-friendly workhorse is emissions-free and has minimal operating costs, compared to its gas-powered counterparts. There's never any mixing of oil and gas or hard-starting hassles. The WG300 features an easy-to-use, tool-free chain replacement and tensioning system. A single oversized knob secures the bar and tensions the chain. The saw's patented chain tensioning system prevents over-tightening and maintains proper tension during operation. Besides ease of use, this exclusive tensioning system helps extend bar and chain life. To protect the user in the event of a kickback, a built-in chain brake stops the chain when improper contact is made for improved safety whenever the saw is powered up. In addition, a greasable sprocket on the nose of the Oregon bar helps increase bar and chain life. A metal bumper at the base of the bar adds stability. During operation, an automatic oiler provides constant lubrication to both bar and chain. All Worx models are equipped with a 6.75 oz. oil reservoir with an oil level indicator. A rubber overmold rear handle and ergonomic full-wrap front handle provide optimum operator comfort and control. A scabbard and one quart of chain oil are included with each saw.
